Cookies Notice
Effective date: September 8, 2026
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This Cookie Notice explains how Mesoblast Limited and the relevant Mesoblast group entities (collectively, “Mesoblast,” “we,” “us” or “our“) use cookies and similar technologies on:
- the corporate website at https://www.mesoblast.com/ (the “Corporate Website“); and
- the U.S. healthcare professional website at https://www.ryoncilhcp.com/ (the “HCP Website“).
Together, these are referred to as the “Websites.” The technologies used and the choices available vary by Website. This Cookie Notice should be read together with our Privacy Notice.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
Cookies are small files placed on your computer, mobile device or other device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a website to recognize a browser or device and may store information about your preferences and interactions.
Cookies may help us operate and secure our Websites, remember your choices, understand how visitors use our Websites, measure the effectiveness of communications or advertising and provide content that may be relevant to your interests.
We may also use related technologies, including pixels, tags, scripts, server logs, and local or session storage. In this Cookie Notice, we refer to these technologies collectively as “Cookies“.
2. WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES ARE THERE?
Cookies can be classified as follows:
- First-party cookies: They are created, sent to your device and stored by the website you are visiting directly. They allow Mesoblast to collect customer analytics data, remember language settings, and carry out other useful functions that help provide a good user experience.
- Third-party cookies: They are created and placed by third parties other than the website you are visiting directly. They are not managed by Mesoblast, but by the third party that processes the data obtained from the cookies.
Cookies can also be classified depending on the purpose of their placement. Main categories are:
- Strictly necessary cookies (also called “required cookies”): these are necessary for the Websites to operate properly and securely. They may be used to protect against malicious traffic, display website content, support essential functions and remember your cookie choices. These cookies cannot generally be disabled through our cookie-preference tool because parts of the Websites may not function properly without them.
- Functional cookies: they help Mesoblast to make the website usable by providing you some basic features and by remembering your preferences and choices of using Mesoblast’s website (e.g., language, the region from where the service is accessed, etc.). Not accepting cookies may cause slow website performance or poorly adapted recommendations.
- Analytics and Performance cookies: they help Mesoblast understand how visitors use our Websites. They may collect information about website visits, pages viewed, referring websites, traffic sources, campaigns and interactions. We use this information to measure website performance, identify technical or usability issues and improve our Websites, communications, products and service.
- Targeting and Marketing cookies: they enable Mesoblast to monitor your behavior on the website. The aim is to display advertisements that are meaningful and attractive to you and therefore more useful to third party publishers and advertisers, as well as to make promotional and specific information available to you on the website.
Cookies may also be divided into two categories depending on the period for which they are stored:
- Session cookies: they allow Mesoblast to recognize and link your actions during a browsing session. When you go to the login page, these temporary cookies will be created to determine whether or not your browser accepts cookies.
- Persistent cookies: they are placed on your device between sessions. They can be used to remember your preferences or actions on Mesoblast’s website.
3. YOUR COOKIES CHOICE
Where required, when you first visit a Website, you will be presented with a cookie banner that allows you to:
- Accept optional cookies;
- Reject optional cookies; or
- Manage your choices by category.
Strictly Necessary Cookies will remain active.
We will not place optional cookies on your device before obtaining your consent where consent is required by applicable law.
You may review or change your selection at any time through the “Cookie Settings” or “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of the Website.
Where applicable U.S. privacy law gives you a right to opt out of disclosures for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioural advertising, you may exercise that right through the “Your Privacy Choices” link. Where legally required, we also recognize qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control.
4. HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES?
Cookie Settings
Where available, you may review or change your choices through the “Cookie Settings” link in the Website footer. Strictly Necessary Cookies cannot generally be disabled through Cookie Settings.
Where the laws require prior consent for non-essential Cookies, we use those technologies only after obtaining the required consent. Strictly Necessary Cookies may be used without consent.
The applicable legal basis for processing Personal Data associated with non-essential Cookies is consent; for essential Website operation and security, we rely on legitimate interests, a requested service, or legal obligations, as applicable.
Browser and device controls
Most browsers allow you to delete or block Cookies or receive a warning before a Cookie is stored. The available controls vary by browser and device. Blocking Cookies may affect Website functionality. If you use multiple browsers or devices or delete Cookies, you may need to renew your choices.
You may opt out of Google Analytics through Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This external tool is provided by Google and may not control other analytics or advertising technologies.
